I am a wedding, elopement and portrait photographer Living in Austin, TX. In addition, I am an artist, a musician, a writer and an insatiably curious global citizeN.
As a photographer, I strive to document weddings honestly in a way that best represents the unique expression of your love. I have no interest in industry trends or adhering to a prescribed, idealized vision of a “perfect” wedding day. Life is imperfect and photographs are so much more beautiful to me when they reflect things as they are. Photography as an art form has always fascinated me- the ability to visually document real moments in history is unique to this medium and makes it endlessly interesting.
As someone with a wide array of interests, my work draws inspiration from many sources- film and cinema, music, design, architecture, culture, food, literature, language, travel and fashion- all of which inform my photography style.
I love meeting and connecting with new people and I view every new shoot as an opportunity to push myself creatively and to create my best work. It is always an honor to be selected from a sea of talented artists and I never take what I do for granted. Having amazing, trusting clients is the reason I am able to continue doing what I love.
My primary goal as a wedding and elopement photographer is to create intimate, honest, dynamic, emotional images that best represent the unique manifestation of your love as a couple. I have always had an active imagination and a strong sense of curiosity and I pride myself on seeing the world differently. I’ve been told that I possess an uncanny ability to notice things that others miss.
Weddings are a microcosm of life that span the range of human emotion. I want my photographs to reflect this complexity and I strive to make my subjects feel confident, beautiful, cared for and to enjoy themselves in the process.
As an ethical small business owner, I believe in being fully transparent about my pricing and who I am as a person and artist. In that spirit of full honesty, I have detailed all my pricing and package info below- if you have any questions regarding my rates or feel excluded by my prices, please do not hesitate to talk to me! Inclusivity and equality are primary concerns for me and I am always brainstorming about how to make my business more ethical and accessible. I understand that photography is expensive and as long as I can support myself and make a living doing what I love, I am always willing to work with folks if finances are an issue. I strive to be flexible in this regard- I’ve seen many business owners prioritize money and greed at the expense of human decency. This “job“ isn’t about money for me. I do this because I love people and I genuinely value the opportunities this work affords me.

Elopements
Elopement Pricing
There are many things to love about larger weddings, but truthfully, I love the more intimate setting that elopements provide. I love the idea of having a wedding that is stripped down to its true purpose. Elopements allow you to do your own thing and the range of possibilities for locations and general trajectory of the day is endless and not bound by a necessity for a traditional venue. I love hearing about all the creative places places people chose to elope- backyards, rooftops, National Parks, etc. If you are planning an elopement, I would love to hear about your vision for your day!

Over the years, I’ve grown to really enjoy these sessions. My work with families- though not necessarily the aesthetic- is informed by the disposable camera snapshots that were so ubiquitous to children of the 90s (me) and before. With the increasing prevalence and convenience of smartphone photography, taking an intentional moment to document life memories has become a beautiful and- in my opinion- necessary act. Investing in family photos allows you to preserve this era of your lives and provide future generations with documentation of who you were.
